Situated on the hill of Bochali looking over Zakynthos Town, you will find the remains of the 17th century Venetian Castle. It was constructed on the site of the acropolis of the island and also a former Byzantine castle. Due to war attacks and earthquakes the castle is partly damaged but still offers some impressive sights.
